the Lincoln Cooking4All Project
We are delivering budget-friendly cookery projects across Lincoln which are all about helping people to build their confidence and skills in the kitchen. We are teaching people about making everyone's favourite dishes from scratch, creating delicious 'fakeaways' that are tastier, healthier and a fraction of the price, and batch-cooking healthy, tasty and budget-friendly meals. We also look at reducing Ultra Processed Foods (UPFs) and we shape each session based on dietary requirements and needs of our audience! Following on from our first courses delivered in 2023, we are pleased to announce that we are delivering even more courses! The courses are completely free and there will be opportunities to taste everything we make - we'll also be organising community events, designed with those who attend the course! We have delivered sessions all over Lincoln, and we are about to start new courses in Moorland Community Centre (sign up form is here), Mint Lane Wellbeing Hub (sign up here), Ermine's St John the Baptist Church and Burton Road Methodist Church (sign up here). We will be delivering community meals at Bridge Central on 11th September (no need to book here but please speak to the staff at the centre for more info). As more dates and locations are agreed we will publish them here and on social media. Follow us on social media for updates and photos of our creations - NEW - you can also join our WhatsApp Community - focus your camera on the QR code above and you'll find out what's going on much easier than through the usual channels!
